I provide IT, cybersecurity, and data privacy support and advisory services to  Canadian non-profits, Indigenous organizations, and small to medium-sized businesses. From on-demand technical help and vendor contract reviews to cybersecurity training and policy development, I take on the strategic and often-overlooked IT work that keeps your organization secure, informed, and in control.

My technology leadership experience spans a decade working directly with Executive Leadership teams, Board Members and Managed Service Providers on projects ranging from IT infrastructure, security, governance, and data privacy. I also hold CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, and CySA+ certifications to keep updated and situationally aware of the current IT and cybersecurity landscape.

Personally, I am Niitsitaapi, Blackfoot from the Canadian Plains and I am a grateful guest of the Ojibwe, Anishnaabe, Haudenosaunee, and Lenape peoples in Southwestern Ontario where rCyberIQ is based.

What others have experienced...

Dennis Whiteye

Ojibway-Anishnaabe, Director of Community Support, Atlohsa Family Healing Services

"Having Aloni Rock at the Atlohsa Family Healing Service for over 8 years we were fortunate to experience the work ethic, and skillset of a true Information Technology professional. As the Director of Community Support, I was able to work alongside Aloni and witness a responsible adult who cares for her community and the people we serve. As an Indigenous service, we deal with the systemic hurdles and intergenerational traumas of this country’s first people. Aloni is well aware of these issues. The programs and services we provide are forever in a better place because of the knowledge and tech support from her. The infrastructure, network management, cybersecurity, database management, cameras, and phone systems will continue to evolve and function properly because of her time here. Our service is in a better place because of the work and skill she brought to this agency."

Chris Hannah

Métis, Director of Clinical Care, Atlohsa Family Healing Services

"Aloni's work is incredibly thorough and she has both technical proficiency and the ability to kindly and competently explain it to non-IT professionals. Its a rare combination of skills that she easily shares with frontline staff and executives alike."

Darlene Bellerose

Board President, Atlohsa Family Healing Services

"I had the pleasure of working with Aloni while she was Director of Technology at Atlohsa Family Healing Services. In that role Aloni was responsible for introducing robust cyber security procedures, providing training and support to staff using new software databases, creating and maintaining a secure portal for the board of directors as well as providing tech support to all board and staff. While assisting people with their technology issues, Aloni exhibited patience and understanding and with her knowledge was able to resolve problems quickly. She is always professional in her work and and was respectful and kind to her colleagues and the board."
